McCain's Deputy Communications Director: President Has "Nearly Dictatorial Powers"

This is not good, guys. I still think McCain will lose in the general election, so I'm not as extremely worried as I otherwise might be, but just the fact that a major member of a major American presidential campaign believes that the founders "sought an energetic executive with near dictatorial power in pursuing foreign policy and war" is ridiculously crazy. I'm a young guy and even I can remember a time when just mentioning the idea of a dictatorial president would have gotten you kicked right the crap out of Washington, right the crap out of your campaign, or hell, right the crap out of your local PTA meeting. But that was before George W Bush, and thanks to him we now live in a different world. And I don't much like it.
