The DNC is up in arms claiming the Republicans have been organizing protests of town hall meetings. They have produced a web ad which is being aired on the DNC's website. Problem is, so what? OK, so Republicans are organizing protests...since when is protesting either illegal or unamerican? If the protesters are breaking the law then its not OK. If they are disrupting the town hall meetings in an impermissible manner, also not OK. However, regardless, saying these "mobs" are trying to "destroy President Obama" is a bit much.
If these really are "angry mobs" which are being disruptive then I can see the DNC's point. Even if they're not, it makes sense for the DNC to make sure people know that these aren't spontaneous outbursts but rather groups organized by the RNC. The problem I have is that the DNC is acting like the RNC is doing something wrong and it doesn't appear to me to even remotely be the case. The Republicans have done plenty, and continue to do things, which are objectionable. Getting all worked up about RNC led protests just isn't one of them unless these protests are criminal.
