Cops v. Humans Beings, Redux

So there's this dick in Arizona named Joe Arpaio who, on top of being unusually mean, believes people should be punished instead of rehabilitated and likes using force wherever possible. Joe isn't just remarkable for his preference for fascism, though; no, he's also remarkable because, as Sheriff for Maricopa County, he actually gets to put his nonsense into practice. Case in super-biased point: voila. The story is pretty long, so I understand if you don't want to read that whole thing.

Story: After piloting an armored personnel carrier into a nearby parked car, Arpaio's men busted into a $250,000 house, threw multiple tear gas canisters inside, and caused the house and everything in it to burn down. The man they were after escaped the house and was promptly (and literally) hogtied by the men. The house's dog also tried to escape, only to be met by a fire extinguisher to the face from one of Arpaio's men, causing it to run back into the house where it burned to death. Arpaio's men reportedly laughed about "that dog screaming upstairs" and told the hysterical housemates to "shut the fuck up."

The man they got was wanted for a misdemeanor for failing to appear in court.

I don't really think I need to add any commentary to this, other than to say that I hope Arpaio's men go to jail for a very significant percentage of their time on earth.
