Senate Republicans have shamelessly and senselessly blocked a vote on providing the District of Columbia with a full voting member of the House of Representatives.
The total disenfranchisement of our nation's capital continues. This doesn't even make any sense based on crass political concerns. Republicans actually get more out of this deal than democrats, since Utah would get another congressman and another electoral vote.
