Bush's Darfur stance; too little too late

Bush is giving Sudan "one last chance" to end the Darfur genocide. I'm sorry but there are 200,000 dead since 2003 and now he is giving them "one last chance?" He ignored 4 years of atrocities and horrific slaughters to give "one last chance?" I'm sorry Mr. President but that seems more than a little disingenious to me and makes me wonder what in the world you like so much about Sudan that they have been given so much leeway to date. Or did Bush wake up this morning and realize Darfur was a problem?

This righteous indignation would have been appropriate 4 years ago. Perhaps if we had at least created a no fly zone and severly sanctioned Sudan we could have headed this situation off at the pass. Instead we ignored it for years and hoped it would go away. Perhaps if Bush wasn't busy unnecessarily invading Iraq and dealing with the aftermath he could have used diplomatic solutions to deal with an even more atrocious and worse government than Iraq's was. The genocide in Darfur is one of the most disgusting in modern history, and Bush has done next to nothing. I suppose that's not true, he has now, 4 years later, given them a stern talking to...and "one last chance."
